Abstract:
The influence of Li, Na, K, and Ca admixtures on the surface and catalytic properties Of tin-containing systems in oxidative dimerization of methane was studied. IR diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and programmed-temperature desorption of CO2 were used to determine the most important properties of the surface. The suggestion was made that the centers of methane activation were Men+O2- donor-acceptor pairs characterized by a 90-130 kJ/mol: activation energy of desorption Of CO2.
