Abstract:
DTA (differential thermal analysis), XPA (XRD phase analysis), FMR (ferromagnetic resonance), and IR (infrared spectroscopy) methods were used to study the formation of nanosized particles of cobalt in a nanoreactor based on supramolecular system [LiAl2(OH)6]2[Coedta]·nH2O. It was shown that under thermal decomposition of this phase at temperatures above 325°C, an amorphous phase containing cobalt(II) cations in the oxygen (nitrogen) surrounding, carbonized product (coke) as well as XRD-amorphous lithium aluminate are formed. Further interaction of the amorphous cobalt-containing phase with coke leads to the formation of nanosized ferromagnetic particles of cobalt covered with a layer of coke and lithium aluminate.
