Abstract:
A series of pure SAPO-31 molecular sieves were synthesized using different particle size of fumed silica (SiO 2) as the Si source and di-n-butylamine (DBA) as the template and the structure and acidity were inspected by means of XRD, SEM, N 2 absorption, NH 3-TPD. The bifunctional catalysts 0.5%Pd/SAPO-31 were prepared through the incipient wetness impregnation technique, and their catalytic performance of hydroisomerization of n-decane was investigated on the fixed-bed continuous-flow reactor. Results showed that the smaller particle size of SiO 2 was helpful for introducing more silicon into the framework of molecular sieve, and the synthesized SAPO-31 molecular sieves had more acid sites, the corresponding bifunctional catalyst 0.5%Pd/SAPO-31 showed a higher activity and selectivity in hydroisomerization of n-decane.
