Abstract:
It has been shown by the EXAFS method that at room temperature Ru3(CO)12 is adsorbed from a pentane solution on the reduced Pd/SiO2 catalyst thus completing the lattice of metallic palladium. Part of Ru3(CO)12 is oxidized by hydroxy groups of silica.
