To date, the problem of oil gas utilization and industrial processing of its components (methane, ethane and propane) is very actual. This issue is closely connected with the need to develop new power saving technologies in petrochemical industry. In light of this, the development of relevant manufacturing process of acrylonitrile from inexpensive and abundant propane instead propylene is challenging and economically is attractive. MoVTeNbO catalysts are reported [1, 2] to be the most efficient catalysts for the ammooxidation of propane to acrylonitrile. The role of Nb in the formation of the structure of these catalysts is still under debate. The work object is to elucidate of Nb effect on the phase composition and catalytic function in
selective conversion of propane.
