Abstract:
Corrosion resistance of metallic titanium, alloys KhN65MV and 06KhN28MDT, and stainless steels 10Kh17N13M2T and 12Kh18N10T towards the action of homogenous oxidation catalysts based on aqueous solutions of Mo–V–P heteropoly acids was studied by an example of the 0.25 M aqueous solution of H12P3Mo18V7O85. It was established that the corrosivity of this solution towards these materials grows in the series: Ti < 06KhN28MDT < 10Kh17N13M2T < 12Kh18N10T << KhN65MV. The highest corrosion resistance of the steels 06KhN28MDT and 10Kh17N13M2T was attributed to the fact that their Ni:Cr atomic ratio is in the range from 0.6 to 1.1.
