Abstract:
A mechanism of limonene hydrogenation in high-pressure CO2 has been suggested using the experimental data. The experimental data on limonene hydrogenation in high-pressure CO2 were processed to elucidate the reaction mechanism and calculate the kinetic constants in rate equations for the proposed reaction scheme. The relationship between the total rate constant of limonene reduction and hydrogen pressure has been found.
