Abstract:
The chemical equilibrium of the transesterification reactions between methanol and mixed triglycerides containing radicals of palmitic, oleic, and linoleic fatty acids are studied. Based on the results of chemical equilibrium calculation, the behavior of the transesterification reaction of mixed triglycerides in the state of chemical equilibrium is predicted, both in the ideal approximation and with allowance for nonideality, in particular, in the region of supercritical state of the reaction mixture.
