Abstract:
It was shown for the first time that the activity of aged Rh-containing TWC can be significantly regenerated by their high temperature oxidation treatment. This phenomenon is believed to be connected with rhodium diffusion from the bulk of CeZrYLaO2 support to its surface. The results obtained give rise to understanding of the aging mechanism of real catalysts under the cyclic high temperature conditions.
