FIELD: gas cleaning.
SUBSTANCE: method for cleaning of oxygen-containing gases from sulfur dioxide includes chemical sorption of sulfur dioxide by solution of phosphates in combination with thiosulfate at temperature of 20-50 C and solution pH 6.5-4.2 in apparatus, preferably, of Venturi scrubber. Regeneration of solution with hydrogen sulfide is carried out in the presence of homogeneous catalyst at temperature of 40-70 C and pH 4.2-6.5 in bubbling apparatus (preferably in gas-lift type). In so doing, H2S : SO2 ratio in fed gases is 1.5:4. Solution contains, mol./l: phosphates 0.3-2.0; thiosulfate 0.3-1.0; catalyst by Ti, Al, Si,- 1•10-3-2•10-1, and by HF - 1•10-2-1,0..
EFFECT: higher efficiency of cleaning and simplified process.
