The catalytic properties of Co3O4, CuO, CuCO2O4, and Pd-CeO2 were studied in neutralization reactions of toxic components of exhaust gases: deep oxidation of CH4, oxidation of CO, and reduction of NOx by propane. The activity of cobalt-copper oxide catalysts in these reactions was shown to be comparable with that of palladium-containing samples as the result of synergistic effects.
