Abstract:
Emulsion polymerization of styrene in the presence of an anionic surfactant, sodium dodecyl sulfate, in a concentration close to the critical micellization concentration, was studied, as influenced by the pH of the initial reaction mixture and the content of the carboxyl-containing azoinitiator.
