Abstract:
The IR spectra of CO, CO2 and CH4 adsorbed on the surface of mechanoactivated α-Cr2O3 were studied. It was found that mechanoactivation affects the properties of adsorption sites on the α-Cr2O3 surface, increasing the reactivity of surface oxygen and the content of coordination-unsaturated cations.
