Abstract:
The effect of excess of Ca,Cu and Ca,Pb on superconducting and electrophysical properties of Bi-2223 ceramic was investigated. Two technological methods were used to modify 2223 ceramic: adding the excess of Ca,Cu and Ca,Pb to the initial mixture; and doping of pure 2223 with ready-made Ca2CuO3 and Ca2PbO4. The phase composition, critical current density, critical temperature, magnetoresistivity and resistivity were determined for obtained samples. The dependence of the properties on the modifying agents nature and on the method of their int-reduction was shown. It was found that the excess of Cn and Cu in the nominal composition with relation to the stochiometric one improves the superconductive properties of the ceramic which results from the developing of net of intergranular contacts during the initial stage of synthesis.
