Abstract:
Conclusions
1. Finely dispersed copper and molybdenum, either supported or in the form of a suspension, manifest appreciable catalytic activity in the process of reduction of water to hydrogen
2. The mechanism of catalytic action of finely dispersed copper and molybdenum is apparently analogous to the “microelectrode” mechanism of the catalytic activity of colloidal noble metals.
