Abstract:
The catalytic activity of sulfates of a series of alkali earth, p, and d elements was studied and it was shown that they can be selective catalysts in the reaction of oxidative dehydrogenation of propane. Manganese sulfate is the most effective. It was found that the sulfates are less stable when heated in the reaction medium than in air.
