Abstract:
Sulfide catalysts characterized by different dispersions of molybdenum sulfide both with respect to the radius of the carrier granules (macrodispersion) and the surface of different sized pores (microdispersion) have been produced by varying the sorption conditions of a molybdenum complex on a γ-Al2O3 surface. A correlation has been found between the macro- and microdispersions. Possible reasons for the concentration of the active component in the narrow pores have been discussed.
