Abstract:
Results of studies on dehydrogenation catalysts based on alkali-metal ferrites are reviewed. General features of the formation of the phase composition of Fe-K, Fe-Rb, and Fe-Cs dehydrogenation catalysts are described. The functions of individual components and their distribution in the catalyst have been established. The active components are alkali-metal ferrites or their solid solution with a high temperature form of cristobalite. Stability conditions have been determined for the active component under reaction conditions for dehydrogenation of n-butenes.
