Abstract:
A study has been made of the strength characteristics of Al2O3 granules obtained by liquid molding from aluminum hydroxides differing in susceptibility to peptization. Means have been found for increasing the strength of the granules and reducing the scatter of values of the mechanical indexes. The maximum possible values of the strength of real defective structures have been estimated.
