Abstract:
Conclusions
1. SmSF, GdSF, DySF, HoSF, and ErSF were synthesized; their densities were measured.
2. SmSF, GdSF, DySF crystallized in the PbFCl structural type, while HoSF and ErSF do not belong to this type.
3. The parameters of the unit cell and the interatomic distances in SmSF, GdSF, and DySF were determined. The IR spectra of sulfidofluorides of the rare earth metals of the samarium group were taken and interpreted.
