Abstract:
Phase composition of coprecipitated Ni-Al catalysts having Ni/Al at. ratio 0.22-2.00 was studied by the radial atom distribution method. A nonstoichiometric spinel having Ni/Al at. ratio = 0.10-0.32 formed at 330° and, at >700°, converted to a stoichiometric spinel Al(NiAl)O4. All samples contained a NiO phase which differed significantly by its redn.-reaction behavior from the pure NiO.
