Abstract: The formation of surface CO complexes was indicated by a 2130 cm-​1 band, NO complexes, by bands at 1880, 1780 cm-​1, and isocyanates, by bands at 2270, 2240, and 2140 cm-​1. Complexes with weak N-​O bonds (1780 cm-​1 for νNO) are intermediates in N2O formation. Simultaneous adsorption of NO and CO occurs on Cu+ active centers.
