The formation of surface CO complexes was indicated by a 2130 cm-1 band, NO complexes, by bands at 1880, 1780 cm-1, and isocyanates, by bands at 2270, 2240, and 2140 cm-1. Complexes with weak N-O bonds (1780 cm-1 for νNO) are intermediates in N2O formation. Simultaneous adsorption of NO and CO occurs on Cu+ active centers.
