Abstract:
It has been shown that in multicomponent absorption with first and zero order chemical reactions proceeding without resistance to mass transfer in the gas phase, the locally averaged diffusive fluxes through unit interfacial area are linear functions of locally averaged concentrations. This relation can be used for the development of hierarchic models of gas-liquid reactors.
