Abstract:
The heat of oxygen adsorption has been measured on a series of supported nickel catalysts with variations in the mean size of nickel crystals from 8 to 200 Å. Within the experimental accuracy, the heat of oxygen adsorption on all catalysts at 35°C proved to be equal to 100±5kcal/mol.
