Abstract:
Using deuterium solid state NMR, molecular mobility of the initial alcohol and reaction products as well as chemical conversion were studied in the course of dehydration of tert-butyl alcohol, selectively deuterated in methyl groups, in H-ZSM-5 zeolite.
