Abstract:
Simulation and optimization of catalytic processes with varying activity on the basis of detailed kinetic model is described. General statement of optimal control problem for such processes is proposed. The Pontryagin's maximum principle is chosen as method of optimization. (change-para-here) A possibility of critical phenomena related to catalyst activity changes has been shown. © 1980, Elsevier Scientific Publishing Company.
