Abstract:
The first example of oxidative stress of H2O2 on the α-amino acid's amino group resulting in crystallization of not only amino acid perhydrates but also of a hydroxylamine derivative is illustrated by a study of the double methylated N-derivative of glycine. The structures of N-hydroxy-N,N-dimethylglycine and N,N-dimethylglycine perhydrates as well as anhydrous N-hydroxy-N,N-dimethylglycine were analyzed by X-ray crystallography
