Abstract:
The effect of magnetic treatment of HNO3-plasticized pseudoboehmite on the structure and properties of Al2O3 granules for catalyst supports was studied. The average mechanic strength and bulk diameter of Al2O3 granules increased while the total pore volume decreased with increasing magnetic field strength from 144 × 104 to 317 × 104 A/mm and increasing treatment time at a constant flow rate.
