Abstract: Microcrystalline cellulose samples are studied by X-ray diffraction. The technique of the diffraction experiment allows achieving higher accuracy and reliability when interpreting the data obtained for plant materials. The determined crystallinity indices of cellulose are compared using several X-ray techniques.
