The ESR of Adducts of Copper(II) bis-Acetylacetonates with Phosphines

The present paper gives the results of an ESR study of adducts formed by copper(II) bis-acetylacetonates (the trifluoroacetylacetonate Cu(TFAA) 2 and the hexafluoroacetylacetonate Cu(HFAA)z) and benzoylacetonate Cu(BAA) 2 with the tertiary phosphines triphenylphosphine PPhs, tripropylphosphine P(CsHT)s, and tri-n-butylphosphine P(C4Hg) s. The ESR spectra were recorded in toluene solution at room temperature and in a toluene glass at 77~ on a JES-3BS-Q ESR radiospectrometer.
