Abstract:
Deep understanding of catalysis fundamentals allows the development of highly efficient catalysts of the newest generation. In this paper, the attention is given to studies of novel inorganic materials, like fiber glass textiles of silicate origin. In this case the nanostructured catalysts were prepared which reveal high performance in different catalytic reactions. Some applications of these materials in the production of petrochemicals are presented.
