Abstract:
Thus, the design of the nanocrystalline binary system CdS@TiO2 with the use of complexation agents ensures the preparation of highly active oxidation catalysts under sunlight. In future, we intend to elucidate the reasons for such high activity of the CdS@TiO2 two-phase photocatalyst, the ratio of the electric potentials of different sulfide and dioxide nanoparticles, and a detailed mechanism of spatial charge separation between the phases.
