Abstract:
Quantitative description for turnover frequency dependence on the metal cluster size is discussed for a variety of heterogeneous catalytic reactions. A thermodynamic approach, based on the differences in the changes of chemical potential per se and/or upon adsorption depending on the metal cluster size, was utilized, showing a very good correspondence between experimental and calculated data.
