Abstract:
In this paper, we demonstrate the possibilities of applying NMR microimaging by the simple model
example of water evaporation from a bundle of straight cylindrical capillaries (capillary bundle). Water evaporation
from single transparent capillaries has been comprehensively studied by optical methods. However,
optical methods for monitoring meniscus displacements can be applied only to studying transparent
samples. When drying is probed by NMR microimaging, the optical transparency of the object is immaterial.
