Реферат:
The kinetics of the catalytic oxidation of CO by phosphotungstovanadic heteropolyacids in aqueous solutions of PdSO4 has been studied. The rate laws are the same in the presence of two different HPAs. The first of these, PW11V, is a one-electron oxidant and the second, PW9V3, can take up to three electrons under the conditions studied. The rate data obtained showed that the HPA acts as a one-electron oxidant in the oxidation of carbon monoxide. The limiting step in the transfer of electrons from a coordinated CO molecule to a HPA occurs in an active, intermediate complex of Pd(I), apparently, as a synchronous process.
