Abstract:
Some particular catalytic processes increasing the efficiency of conversion and utilization of energy in power installations have been considered. Among them: thermochemical catalytic reactions; reactions for cooling heat-tense surfaces; chemical regeneration of heat to increase the efficiency of fuel energy use; chemical heat pumps; reversible catalytic reactions to conversion, accumulation, and transfer of solar energy, etc.
