Abstract:
The effective pair correlation function g̃(N)(r1;r2) accounting for the contribution of the kinetic energy functional to the electron correlation energy has been constructed. This function possesses the asymptotic property g̃(N)(r1;r2) = 0 at r1 = r2 and provides an efficient formalism for a model description of the electron correlation in many-electron systems.
