Abstract:
The interaction of a series of Cu2+, Fe3+, Cr3+ and Cr6+ compds. on χ-Al2O3 was studied at
973-1273 K was studied by x-ray phase anal. The effect of additives on the polymorphic conversion of the Al2O3 substrate is related to the formation of solid solns. bases on the χ-Al2O3 structure and is detd. by their thermal stability. The most stable solid solns. contain Cr3+ and Zn2+ simultaneously and the least Fe3+.
