Abstract:
The possibilities of IR spectroscopy, including the use of adsorbed molecular probes (NH3, CO, NO), and diffuse reflectance UV-Vis spectroscopy for establishing the structure and properties of an active component, in particular, the coordination state of vanadium cations and the extent of their clustering, are analyzed in detail for vanadium-containing oxide systems prepared by different methods on various supports.
