Abstract:
ESR spectra with rhombic anisotropy of the g-factor caused by stabilization due to the Jahn-Teller cooperative effect, have been found for catalytic systems TiCl4+TIBA in toluene (with Ti/Al∼1/15) at low preparation temperatures. Adduct formation of these complexes with piperylene is accompanied by the appearance of ESR spectra belonging to mono- and dialkylated Ti3+ complexes.
