Abstract:
ESCA studies of the state of Pd/γ−Al2O3 catalysts modified by potassium carbonate show that such catalysts differ from unmodified samples in much greater changes of a positive charge of palladium ions under redox conversions. This is ascribed to the lower interaction of Pd with the support in modified samples.
