Abstract:
The possibility of using the method of electrodialysis was studied to preparation solutions of heteropoly acids of different compounds and structure: H3+nPM12-n(V,Nb)nO40 (M = Mo, W), H6P2M18O62, HxPMo11XO39, HxSiW11O39
(X = Pd2+, Rh3+, Fe3+, Cu2+, Cr3+, Co3+, Ni2+), HxXM6O24 (X = Te6+, Co3+, Cr3+, Ga3+), H6XM9O32 (X4+ = Ni, Mn), H8XW10O36 (X4+ = Ce, U, Sn), H15P5W30O110 as well in the systems X-W6+ (X = Te4+, S4+, Se4+, Sb3+, As3+, Bi3+, P5+). The products were analyzed by NMR and IR spectra. α-H6P2M18O62, H3PMo6W6O40, H8CoMo6O24, H3+nPM12-n(V,Nb)nO40 (n = 1, 2) and a H6AsW21O69-H7AsH2W18O60 mixt. were obtained in quant. yield. Thus, electrodialysis can be used to prepare heteropoly acids stable in concd. aq. solns.
