Abstract:
The γ isomer of the P2WI8O6-(62) heteropolyanion, in which both polar W3O13 moieties are rotated through 60 ° with respect to their position in the α isomer, was discovered and identified by the NMR method. Isomer γ-P2W18O6-(62), is characterized by the 31P NMR signal at -10.8 ppm and two l83WNMR signals with the 1:2 intetsity ratio at -111.8 and - 191.9 ppm, respectively. Isomerization γ-> β-> α accurs gradually.
