Abstract:
Interaction of C2H4, C3H6, and CH2:CMe2, during adsorption on Al2O3, with defects and Al2+ centers, gave Al-OCH2-C• and Al-CH2-C• type radicals, resp.; in the latter radicals 16% of the spin d. was localized on Al. Identical radicals formed during adsorption in a field of γ-irradiation. Both types of radicals took part in polymerisation of these olefins.
