Abstract:
N-containing ligands were fixed on a SiO2 surface, e.g., by reaction of SiO2 with Cl3SiCH2CH2CN in toluene at 100-13°; Pd complexes were then formed with these ligands, and the catalytic properties of the complexes were examined in the hydrogenation of 1-hexene (I) and BuOCH:CH2 (II). The Pd complex with the fixed CH2CH2C6H4C(NH2):NOH-p ligand was stable during the hydrogenation; its catalytic activity was 7 times greater with I than with II. These complexes were not as active as Pd itself.
