Abstract:
By using published experimental data (P.W. Selwood 1970, 1971; K. Baron and P.W.S., 1973) on kinetics of ortho-para conversion of H on reduced Y2O3 or Lu2O3 or on rare-earth catalysts on supports, the decrease of the conversion rate in applied magnetic field is explained by a rotationless fixation of adsorbed H2 on the catalysts.
