Abstract:
Kinetics of phenylation of ethylene and styrene by Pd(OAc)2 in benzene at 95 °C is described by the equation W=k [PdII][PhH][Ol], kC2H4/kC2D4= =1.2±0.2, kPhH/kPhD=5.0±0.5. The reaction mechanism is discussed.
