Abstract:
The problem of aggregating (unitizing) the mechanisms of complex reactions has been examined in the equilibrium case. Links between the equilibrium constants of the original and abbreviated schemes for first-order reactions have an explicit form. For higher-order reactions, an algorithm has been constructed for linking the equilibrium constants of the original and abbreviated schemes. Specific examples are examined.
