Abstract:
Method for design of kinetic experiments in studies of kinetics of complex reactions in nongradient reactors of flow type is proposed. Method essentially consists of replacement of experiments at predetermined concentrations in reactor, which are difficult to perform, by calculations based on experimentally determined formal mathematical representation of course of reaction in laboratory apparatus. An illustrative experiment is performed on a mathematical model of dehydrogenation of butane-butylene mixtures accompanied by cracking of initial substances and of reaction products.
