Abstract:
The isotopic exchange of the oxygen of iron-antimony complex oxides was investigated within the entire region of compositions, including the individual oxides of iron and antimony, iron antimonate, and samples consisting of two phases-the antimonate and the corresponding oxide. The basic kinetic characteristics of the exchange of oxygen were determined, and their dependence on the composition of the investigated catalysts was analyzed. The mechanism of the exchange of molecular oxygen in the surface layer of iron-antimony oxides is discussed on the basis ofa kinetic analysis of isotopic exchange.
